New for 2023, The Hester Top Dog exhibits the "walk-the-dog" action that is a proven method for catching big fish. The lure is cast into the lake and then is allowed to have some slack in the line so that the tip of the fishing rod can be moved around as the line is reeled in. This will allow the Top Dog to sort of skim, or "walk" around back and forth on the surface of the lake. There is a rippling effect caused by this action on the lake surface which acts to attract fish further away.
